Get active, support local and eat delicious butter tarts on the Butter Tart Trail, on September 10th and 11th!

Small businesses in Midland and the surrounding area will be awaiting you, selling a variety of butter tarts and butter tart inspired food creations, building on the success of Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival. which is hosted in Midland every year, in June. 

This is a ‘choose your own adventure’ style, independent ride.

Using the map, you can start where and when you want, and bike along any portion of the route at your own pace!

We have developed a custom cycling route for the Butter Tart Trail weekend, incorporating some tasty, locally made butter tart stops along the way. Ride part of the route or the whole thing – it’s your butter tart fueled adventure!

The map is a guide, listing potential butter tart stops. Do not feel obligated to complete the full route.

Things to note:

The route is a mix of on-road, gravel and trail.

Roads will not be closed for this event.

Please follow the rules of the road.
