Orillia, ON – Registration is now open for the 2nd annual Soldiers’ Ride. On Sunday, June 2, riders of all skill levels will once again meet at Quayle’s Brewery for a day of road biking to raise critical funding for urgent care needs at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH).
Soldiers’ Ride provides avid cyclists with scenic 50 km and 100 km routes through the historic Simcoe-Muskoka landscape. In addition to the 50 km and 100 km routes, this year’s event will feature a family-friendly 20 km route.
Participants will start and end the ride at Quayle’s Brewery in Coldwater where they can enjoy a celebratory lunch paired with a local craft beer.
The event promotes active and healthy lifestyles, raising funds for important upgrades at OSMH. Last year’s inaugural event brought together over 150 cyclists and raised $107,865 for OSMH.
Proceeds from Soldiers’ Ride will once again support areas of greatest need at OSMH.
Riders can participate on their own, with a team of friends or family, or as part of a corporate team. Sponsorship opportunities and registration are now available. Visit www.soldiersride.ca
